지난 2월 교민지 코리아포스트와 7월 뉴질랜드 타임즈에서 소개된 바 있는 ‘K-Pop Academy’가 뉴질랜드 온라인 미디어 The Spinoff에서 8월 3일 방송 개시와 더불어 기사로 소개했다. 아래는 TVNZ On Demand에 올라온 총 8개 에피소드다.
아직까지 미국 팝송처럼 대세는 아닌 여전히 틈새 시장에 해당하는 K-pop 이지만 국영방송 지원하에 뉴질랜드 현지 청소년들을 대상으로 경연 프로그램을 진행했다는 것이 달라진 위상을 느끼게 한다. 유튜브처럼 영상을 곧 바로 옮길 수 없는 관계로 각 에피소드 란을 클릭해서 시청하면 된다. 영어자막 지원이 된다.
